Garment Care

A heavyweight garment is made to stay with you for years. Caring for it well is part of the covenant.

Washing

• Wash inside out, cold (30°C / 86°F maximum), with similar colors.
• Use a mild detergent, with no bleach or optical brighteners.
• Do not use fabric softener — it degrades the fibers and the tonal embroidery.

Drying

• Dry flat, in the shade. Never in a dryer.
• Heavyweight French Terry keeps its shape when dried flat.
• Do not wring the garment.

Ironing & Storage

• Iron inside out on low heat, avoiding the embroidery.
• Store folded, not hung — the weight of the fabric stretches the shoulders.
• Let the garment rest a day between wears.

The Embroidery

The tonal cross and stitched references are embroidered with high-twist thread. They need no special care beyond washing inside out — but if a thread ever comes loose, don't cut it: write to us at atelier@diosdira.co and we will repair it.
